Amy Leach: Sculptor, Painter, Collector, and All Around Weirdo

Amy Leach a sculptor living and working in the South Jersey suburbs of Philadelphia, PA.  Her work pulls from traditional figure sculpture with a mix of oddball junk and ephemera.
Growing up in a family of antique collectors, Amy began collecting and drawing at a very young age.  She took up a love of sculpture in elementary school, and quickly made that her primary focus.  Her love of art and weird old junk have never faltered, and she continues to let her surroundings influence her work to this day.
Amy studied fine art sculpture at Rowan University and earned a BFA.  From there she has dabbled in commercial art, but has continued to focus on her fine art sculpture.  She has also worked on collaborative projects with other art collectives outside of her own work.
Amy lives and works with artist and print maker Toothless Walter Esq, and the two work together to encourage each other’s creativity.
